About This Dog for Adoption

Pepper's ideal home

Pepper is a 5 year old French Bulldog. Pepper is a beautiful girl who takes time to build trust with new people, she is looking for a quiet adult only home and to be the only pet in the house. Pepper loves to play and is usually seen either running around with her football in her mouth or you can hear the squeaks from her chomping on her favourite pig. Pepper completely adores her favourite person Liv, she loves to give and receive cuddles from Liv and thinks nothing about sitting on her knee in prime spot for an ear tickle or a tummy rub. Although Pepper is comfortable and loves Liv dearly, this relationship took a long time to build and to gain trust. Pepper is looking for someone who understands that she does take time to build a relationship and who is happy to do this at her pace.

Could you be Pepper's perfect match?

Pepper is a sensitive girl who can become defensive in situations she finds stressful or overwhelming, because of this she needs patient, calm owners who have owned dogs previously. pepper does not like other dogs and needs to be walked in areas where she will not meet or come in to contact with them. She will need her own garden where she can spend time off her lead either zooming around or playing with all her toys.

Pepper is affectionate with people she knows and trusts but is worried by too much hands on contact from people she does not know. Pepper will need to meet her new owners several times before she would be able to go to her new home to establish a trusting bond.

Frenchie Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a French Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Frenchie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
