About This Dog for Adoption

Dolly's ideal home

Dolly is a sweet and affectionate 4.5-year-old girl who thrives on human attention and will happily soak up cuddles from anyone she meets. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home with adults or families with children aged 8 and over. While Dolly has been housetrained and can be left alone for up to an hour (with time and patience, this could be increased),she’s still finding her paws when it comes to exploring the wider world. She’ll need a private, secure garden to help gently build her confidence outdoors walks can be a bit overwhelming at times, but with encouragement and routine, she’s learning to enjoy them more and more.

Could you be Dolly's perfect match?

Dolly would suit a home where she’s the only pet she’s had past disagreements with other dogs and isn’t suitable to live with cats or small furries. That said, she might benefit from carefully managed walks with calm doggy companions in future, but it’s important she has space and slow introductions on her own terms. With medium energy levels, she’s not a high-maintenance girl but will enjoy a few short adventures once she settles. Dolly is searching for a patient and loving home that can offer her the quiet stability she needs to thrive. If you’ve got a gentle heart and a safe garden, she just might be the perfect match.

Frenchie Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a French Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Frenchie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
