About This Dog for Adoption

Trooper's ideal home

Say hello to this very handsome boy, Trooper. Trooper is a lovely young man who adores the company of people and really doesn't like being left alone. He is finding kennel life a bit difficult and would love to get into a warm and loving home as soon as possible. In Troopers new home we would like adults or older teens only. Trooper has lived with another dog in his previous home so we do feel he could share his new home with another friendly dog, pending successful meets at the rehoming centre. A secure outdoor space would also be really lovely for Trooper to help with his house training and to burn off some of that excitable energy. Trooper will need someone around all of the day when he first arrives at this new home, leaving hours should be minimal for quite some time as he finds being left alone rather stressful.

Could you be Trooper's perfect match?

Trooper is a one year old Husky x French Bulldog. He is a very loving boy who will more than happily jump up onto your knee for some cuddles and bum scratches. He enjoys a good enriching walk and exploring new places. Trooper can be a little wary when he first meets new people so will need a few meets at the centre to help build a bond before he would be comfortable going home to his new family. As Trooper finds some situations a bit scary, he does need some help with his veterinary handling. Our training team can lead the way on this with some plans on how to help Trooper feel better when at the vets. We do need his new family to be willing to work slowly, at his pace, to give him the best start in his new life. Trooper has lots of fun energy and needs daily activities to help keep his brain working so new adopters will need to love walking and playing as much as he does. Once you get to know Trooper and earn his trust he is one of the sweetest and most caring soul, who will be right by your side for all the love (and treats!)
