About This Dog

Max's ideal home

Meet Max! This energetic lad is on our Homestay scheme looking for a new home. He would love to find an adult only home that can take things slowly with him whilst he is building new relationships and settling in. Max currently lives with another dog and could do so again, pending successful mixes in centre prior to adoption. He can be initially wary of new dogs but with careful introductions does have a playful temperament waiting to shine through.

Could you be Max's perfect match?

Max is only 8 months old and due to a leg injury that resulted in amputation at such a young age, this meant he missed out on his prime socialisation which has left him with some worries with the wider world. He is looking for patient and understanding owners with a keen interest in training to help him blossom. Max has positive home history of being fully housetrained, he can be left home alone for a few hours and travels well in a car.
