About This Dog

Albus's ideal home

Albus is a sweet and affectionate boy who absolutely loves spending time with his favourite people. He’s a friendly little character who enjoys cuddles, fuss and being involved in family life, and will happily lean in for attention once he knows you.

He can be a little unsure when meeting new people initially, but he warms up quickly after a gentle introduction and a tasty treat or two. Once comfortable, his playful and loving personality really shines through. Albus enjoys getting out for walks, travelling in the car and exploring new places with his humans - although he’d definitely prefer to stay indoors on rainy days!

Albus has lived happily alongside young children previously and has been described as friendly and affectionate with them. However, due to some resource guarding behaviours around particularly exciting items like soft toys or high-value chews, we feel he would be best suited to a home with sensible secondary-school-aged children.

He is interested in other dogs and would benefit from continued positive social experiences to help build his confidence and manners around them. Albus could potentially live with a calm, patient dog pending successful introductions at the centre.

Albus is looking for adopters who can initially keep leaving time to a minimum while he settles into his new routine and builds a bond with his family.

Could you be Albus's perfect match?

Albus is a lovely 4-year-old French Bulldog with lots of love to give. He’s a people-focused boy who enjoys companionship, affection and being close to those he trusts most. Once settled, he’s a fun and endearing little dog who enjoys exploring on walks and relaxing at home with his humans.

He’s a bright boy who would thrive with adopters happy to continue some positive, reward-based training around sharing valued items and polite dog interactions. Albus has already shown that he responds well to reassurance, patience and consistency.

Like many Frenchies, Albus has plenty of personality packed into a small frame and will keep his family smiling with his funny, affectionate nature. He’s looking for a loving home that can offer him companionship, understanding and plenty of cuddles in return for a very loyal best friend.
