About This Dog

Louis's ideal home

Louis is a friendly and affectionate four-year-old French Bulldog cross English Bulldog looking for a new home. He could live with children aged eight and over, including regular visiting children, and may be able to share his home with another well-matched dog, pending successful introductions. Louis cannot live with cats or small furries. He would like a home where someone is around for most of the day initially, with any time left alone gradually built up to between one and four hours once he has settled. Louis can be a little startled by sudden noises, so his new family will need to help him build his confidence at his own pace.

Could you be Louis's perfect match?

Louis is a fun-loving, sociable boy who enjoys meeting new people and will happily ask for attention with a gentle nudge or paw. He loves his walks, sniffing, tasty treats and a good game of tug! His toys will need to be on the tougher side, as Louis certainly puts them through their paces. He is also partial to a frozen carrot, although he may carefully hide it away before completely forgetting it exists. Louis is housetrained, settles well overnight and travels brilliantly in the car. He can walk at a quick pace and may pull when something catches his interest, so his adopters should be happy to continue his lead training. Louis can struggle in warmer weather, meaning his exercise will need to be carefully managed when temperatures rise. This playful, affectionate character is ready to bring plenty of laughs, cuddles and personality to his new home.
