About This Dog for Adoption

Millie's ideal home

Millie is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is a friendly bean who can live with children aged 10 years and over who will understand that she can be bouncy when excited, children who can play with her nicely and will give her space to rest when needed. Millie could live with an established dog who will happily play with her and let her know when playtime is over, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre. Living with another dog is not a necessity, she would love to have playful walking buddies, she cannot live with cats or other small furries. Millie has some training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit” and “paw”, she is eager to engage if a treat is on offer, she must have specific treats for her special diet. She may need a refresher on her housetraining in her new home so a private or communal, secure garden is needed. Millie can settle nicely so would be able to be left for up to 2 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Millie is on a special diet and will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Millie's perfect match?

Playful and bouncy girl Millie is a 3 and a half year old French Bulldog with bundles of energy. Her favourite toys are teddies, she loves to throw them around and chew on them, they don’t tend to last very long when she is excited. She is an affectionate girl who LOVES attention, she will jump up for fusses, especially loving a back and neck scratch, if you are lucky she may even treat you to kisses. This stunning little pocket rocket is ready to find her new home.

Frenchie Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a French Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Frenchie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
