About This Dog for Adoption

Bear's ideal home

Bear is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is a friendly bean who can live with primary school aged children who will understand that she can be bouncy when excited, children who can play with her nicely and will give her space to rest when needed. Bear could live with another calm dog of similar size who is happy to co-exist and engage in occasional play, this will be pending successful meetings at the centre. Living with another dog is not a necessity, she would love to have friendly walking buddies, she cannot live with cats or other small furries. Bear has some training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit”, she is easily distracted, but can be encouraged to engage in training in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat. Bear is looking for a home with a private or communal garden with secure fencing to potter around in. Bear can settle nicely so would be able to be left for up to 2 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Bear is on a special diet and will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Bear's perfect match?

Playful girl Bear is a 2 and a half year old French Bulldog with a big personality. When its playtime she likes to play tuggy with rope toys and teddies, she will chase toys around as long as you are playing with her, but will soon lose interest when playing alone. Bear is a very busy Frenchie, with lots of exploring to do, she is a nosy girl and is very interested in what you are up to and if you are hiding any special treats for her. Cuddle time is the best, she likes to be fussed all over and will get all wiggly and silly. This top girl is looking for her new home.
