About This Dog

Charlie's ideal home

Meet Charlie, a handsome Jack Russell X French Bulldog looking for his forever home! Charlie is 5-years old, and is looking to be the only dog in the home, as he does prefer his space from other dogs. Charlie is a lovely boy, who was quite worried when he first arrived in our care, but has been coming out of his shell and building confidence every day! He would suit a home with older secondary school children that are able to offer him his space when he feels he needs it.
Charlie loves to play fetch and carry a ball around, but if offered a soft toy, he loves to shred them! Charlie is looking for a quieter home, with a kind, patient family that are willing to continue his confidence building and go nice and slow with him as new environments can still be a little worrying. Charlie loves getting out for sniffy walks, though can pull on the lead a bit if he finds something particularly smelly and exciting!
Charlie is not enjoying his time here in kennels, and would love to be able to lap up the home comforts in his new forever home. He can be worried when meeting people initially, but comes around quickly - especially if there are toys and food involved! Charlie is such a sweet boy, and we can't wait to see him curled up on his forever sofa!

Could you be Charlie's perfect match?

Charlie is a sweet young chap who is looking for a patient and understanding home that can offer him the time he needs to build his confidence and a bond in his new home environment. He is house-trained and can be left for 1-4 hours once this has been built up.
Charlie loves to play with his toys, and he will be such a fun companion once he has become your best friend! He would love to go for fun sniffy walks, and take in all the sights and smells! He has shown some worried behaviours around other dogs and prefers them out of his face, but can go for calm parallel walks with dog friends out and about.
Charlie cannot wait to find himself his perfect home, and live it up with his new besties!

Here is Bruno, he’s a 5 year old French bulldog. He has no previous health conditions, reason for rehoming as I’m having another baby and can’t give him the time and attention he needs anymore. He loves kids but would advise no children younger than 7 in the household due to him jumping when being excited. He gets on fine with other dogs.  He is free to a good loving
