About This Dog for Adoption

Reg's ideal home

Reg is a two-year-old large French Bulldog. He would benefit from having social doggy friends when out and about. He has history of living with a dog in the home however, he may be best as the only dog in the home so he can have all the attention for himself. Reg has no history of living with cats, small furries, or livestock. He likes chasing birds. He can live with children in the home as young as eleven. Reg has been living off-site in a foster home. He has been friendly with visitors, he loves people. Reg is happy to be left at home alone for a few hours at a time. He travels well in the car. Reg is housetrained.

Could you be Reg's perfect match?

Reg is an affectionate lad who wants to be everyone’s friend. He adores a fuss and a snuggle. He has been enjoying his walks with his foster carer, he can cope with busy walks and is happy to visit pubs and cafes. He enjoys the beach. Reg is not really into toys. He loves his treats and chews. He settles well after his exercise, and he sleeps in his own bed next to the foster carer at night. He would benefit from learning some basic training using positive reward. He currently knows a sit for a nice, tasty treat of course!

Frenchie Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a French Bulldog.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Frenchie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
